Puttalam with it’s 35,000 refugees who were sent out of Jaffna and Mannar is still having people who are living below the poverty line.
Next month a young fisherman is hoping to marry a girl – their problem is that they won’t have a place to live. Families of the bride and bride groom live in houses like the one shown in the picture. they are seeking help to put up a hut of their own costing only Rs. 20,000
