There is a gathering place for the disabled children at Muthwal run by some non-muslim well wishers. One of the volounteers. Dr.Mrs. Esther Amarasinghe called me and asked whether we can help them to feed the children for a day per week. About 15 children come who are of all ages. One family consists of 20 year old wheel chair bound muslim boy whose parent in their 60’s fend for him, they’ve no income other than whatever 3 neighbours give. There is a nother family with 2 di plegic children ( paralysed in both legs) with 3 other normal school going children and a bed ridden old mother too.
