The attached picture shows a 2 ½ year old child, born with deformed private parts – a condition called Epispadias where the opening for urine is abnormally placed. His condition is such that surgery in Sri Lanka is impossible. They have been advised to go to India for surgery. The tentative expenditure is about Rs.450,000 including travel expenditure, stay in India for the parents and the surgery: and they have collected Rs.300,000 and are short of Rs.150,000. His father is a labourer from Akkaraipathu.
The doctors have advised it to be done soon.
