Fathima Reena was born a Buddhist to a respectable family in Upcountry. She is at college of Education at Polgolla to complete a Diploma in English Teaching.
During her Education at the National college of Education she embraced Islam as she understood it to be the true religion, without the knowledge of her parents. This happened about 6 months back, she has been practicing Islam secretly and during the Ramazan period she observed fasting too.
One month back, her parents came to know about this and they were forcing her to come back to Buddhism, which she totally refused.
Finally they started torturing her physically and she had no option but to leave her home. Now she has decided to join the 4 months Islamic Training Class at our organization, Almuslimaath which trains reverts to practice Islamic Life.
We hope to fulfill her ambition and hope someone might come forward to help her.
One month cost is – Rs.7000/- (60 USD) including teaching, incidental expenditure, food and lodging.
