We have re started another project – kathna project. Loads of little children not done kathna yet because the parents cannot afford them.
Last time, about 5 years back we did 6000 cases all around the island.This time too we have got requests for over 1000 !
Normally doctors do the kathna in the private nursing homes costing about Rs.5000 each but we have got volunteer doctors who go from village to village and do it for us.
Each costs only Rs. 2500/ for surgery, medicine and a sarong and milk packet.
Do you think you can help for at least one case?
