Assalamu alaikum warahmathullahi wabarakathuhu
We received an appeal from a very poor, unmarried orphan girl to buy a piece of land of 8 perches for just 2 lakhs. Normally the land is expensive here but someone has kindly consented to give for a very low price for her. The village will help her to build the house if she owns a piece of land.
She has neither the father nor the mother, has one married sister with 5 children, and a brother with 2 children and an unmarried brother – all the men are working as day wage earners. All 12 of them are living in one small rented house and finding difficult even to pay the rental.
Please help her to buy this land. She is eligible for zakath too.
The Prophet (sal) said
“The one who looks after and works for a widow and for an orphan, is like a warrior fighting for Allah’s cause or like a person who fasts during the whole day and prays all the night.”
Narrated Abu Huraira that the Prophet said as above.
